YOUNG PERSON’S ADVISER - Suffolk, Suffolk - Role Based in Bury St Edmunds

The service offers a comprehensive 16+/Leaving care service to young people aged 16-24
Responsible for delivering a high quality Aftercare service to young people
The post holder will work as a member of a leaving and aftercare team undertaking the Young Person’s Adviser functions
To carry a caseload as allocated by the Manager
To offer a YPA service for all young people referred to the Leaving and Aftercare service
To implement programmes of social care, education, training and support to individual young people as part of their Pathway Plan
working knowledge of benefits, training/employment, housing and health issues affecting young people

The ideal candidate must have experience working with young people, youth work, youth connexions and hold an NVQ level 2 or 3
