The main purpose of this role is to control multiple import accounts on a start to finish basis. Other duties include: collating of customs and shipping paperwork, preparation/transmission of Customs Entries, obtaining of Customs Clearance, collation and advice of charges payable to customer and arranging of payment to and release from shipping lines, Customer Service functions, Invoicing out of charges + inputting of costs to file, completion of customer KPI’s, full responsibility for file P+L.

Candidates should have a previous background in Import Freight Forwarding including a knowledge of all FCL and LCL transport requirements, Customs Entry procedures and UK port systems and procedures.
A good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and experience of Impatex system would be an advantage.
