Experienced & Responsible Receptionist / Administrator - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk - My client is looking for a competent receptionist and administrator to join a small, busy team. The successful person will be working in a confidential, sensitive, secure environment where you will be dealing with people from all walks of life. The ideal candidate will have experience of handling matters with discretion as well as previous office based work experience and enjoy working in a front facing role.

The role will involve working between:
Mondays 8.30am – 9.00pm (starting later if working evening)
Tuesdays 8.30am – 8.30pm (starting later if working evening)
Wednesday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Thursdays 8.30am – 8.30pm (starting later if working evening)
Fridays 8.30am – 5.00pm

You will be proving cover for colleagues from time to time; therefore flexibility would be an advantage. In addition, there are a variety of key responsibilities, including; producing reports, organising files, assisting with archiving, using a database and typing correspondence. The role involves handling confidential material and generally exercising discretion, tact and professionalism at all times.

Key Skills
* You MUST have an existing Criminal Records Bureau Check (enhanced disclosure)
* Must be available to start work immediately
* Able to commit to working full time for a minimum of 4 months (end March 2010)
* Experience of working a front facing role
* Strong IT skills, including experience of using databases
* Ability to deal with people from all walks of life
* Confident communicator
* Able to liaise at all levels of an organisation
* You should be able to utilise your life experiences to relate well to others
* Calm and professional at all times
* Not easily fazed and able to think on your feet
* Used to handling confidential material
