ElectronicsTechnician - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk - We are currently assisting a dynamic and progressive company based in Brandon who are seeking an Electronics Technician to work within the Product Support Department. This position fulfills a key role in the support of the electronics function. The company specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of opening rooflights. The rooflights are controlled by circuit boards and systems that have been designed and developed by the company.
Requirements and Responsibilities
At least 2 years experience in an electronics environment
Qualified to either HNC in Electronics or an associated discipline or City & Guilds in Electronics and Electronic Servicing
Prior experience in Motor Control Applications, batteries and battery charging systems and wireless comms
Familiarity with the PICC and Atmel family of processors is also essential with some programming in C being a distinct advantage
Ability to build prototypes and fault find to component level
Some knowledge of achieving IP rating on wiring and enclosures as well as familiarity with relevant electrical standards and regulations is also desirable
Must be self motivated and be able to meet project deadlines
