Our Client is seeking a highly organised and motivated Service Delivery Manager with experience of either Service Desk Management or Field Engineering management. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to contract management, delivering service on agreed SLAs and involvement in continuous improvement programs within manufacturing and logistics.
With a passion for driving forward and delivering excellent customer service, the SDM will manage both the control desk and field engineers. You will lead/facilitate cross-functional problem solving teams and consequently must have exceptional presentation and leadership skills.
Working for a dynamic and customer driven organisation, you will be expected to adhere to and lead your team to achieving set KPIs and performance targets. You will also be confident in presenting to Key Clients and carrying out service reviews and managing strict SLAs.
Duties will include, but will not be restricted to:-
•Deputies for the Ops Director when required
•Manage the budget for all Service departments
•Operate and own the service “Contracted” SLA’s for all customers
•Operate and own the service “Service Desk” function
•Operate and own the “Continuous Improvement” program
•Communicate the departments achievements
•Demonstrate through reporting the call reduction program is effective
•Represent Service Delivery at customer meetings
•Delegate and own Continuous Improvement initiative plans
•Check all service reporting data in line with agreed customer schedules
•Ensure internal escalations are communicated in a timely manner
•Ensure one visit per month per customer is achieved
This role would suit a candidate from a Service management background, with ITTL or Prince qualifications.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, motivated and have a strong desire to resolve problems and handle ‘crisis management’ quickly and effectively. You will be required to think on your feet and present the best solution to clients and organisations within very strict time periods. This is not a desk job and as such requires a candidate prepared to do what it takes and go where needed to sort the problem.
