ERP Project Manager / Accountancy qualified - Ipswich, Suffolk - This role will suit an ambitious qualified accountant or an ERP project manager / consultant with accounting qualifications, wishing to further their career in a technology driven business working with a wide variety of industries. Our client provides powerful accounting and ERP software solutions and has a wealth of experience across a number of UK vertical markets; their rapidly growing client list is a testament to the success they have enjoyed over the past 15 years. This is a key role in the future development of the product, the management of chargeable project work, and project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant's background and will be looking to forge a career in technology driven accounting software, or will be a Project Manager who has had a previous career in accounting practice and has already moved into the ERP sector. You will ideally have worked in a substantial accounting practice in a fee earning capacity and will understand the need for each individual on the project teams to be accountable for their billable time on an hour to hour basis.

You will manage projects from the start, working through the 500 or more tasks generated by the project structure, to ensure the schedules are kept up to date and each task is billed appropriately. You will audit the processes, plan and document multiple projects running simultaneously,and evolve the Prince 2 methodology to deliver client satisfaction. You will also implement ERP solutions and attend client visits.
