Commercial Claims Handler - Ipswich, Suffolk - Our Client is looking to expand the claims resource within their Commercial Department to ensure that they continue deliver a high level of loss management assistance to their clients.

• Primary responsibilities:
Receiving the first notification of claims from clients and advising them regarding the scope of cover available.
Ensuring that claims are properly notified to insurers and that records are correctly updated. Monitoring the progress of claims and intervening as necessary to ensure that they are settled promptly and on the best possible terms.
Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and ULR etc.

• The role will require:

a) To handle the expectations of demanding clients
b) To obtain swift and satisfactory responses from insurers
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
The ability to understand and interpret policy wordings
