Planning Manager - Suffolk, Suffolk - Hales Group is looking to recruit a Planning Manager for their Suffolk based manufacturing client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

Ensuring timely availability of materials, inventory control, production planning, and despatch
Establish inventory processes in line with production needs, maintaining accuracy at all times
Manage and maintain an effective production planning process to elevate bottlenecks with the production process
Implement and manage an MPS model to reduce lead-times on deliveries to end users
Control and manage budgets and targets
Collate and understand data to produce weekly / monthly management reports

To be considered for the role of Planning Manager you will come from a similar industry where you will have used an MRP or MPS planning tool and have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles which will be featuring heavily in this role. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering, Logistics or similar field.
