The Role

The planning manager will be responsible and accountable for the management and development of the planning function. This will involve the review of processes & procedures and the design and implementation of new processes to meet customer demand, company objectives and to accommodate growth and added complexity to their supply chain. The Production Planning manager will be responsible for leadership and mentoring of the planning teams, inventory management, materials and despatch.

You

You’ll will be a graduate or of graduate calibre and ideally possess CIPS or CILT accreditation. You will be a strong and proven man-manager and be highly influential, have a strong production planning & manufacturing background with exposure to end to end supply chain functions and processes. The ideal Planning manager will have experience of working within an engineering or electrical background preferably with exposure to castings or machining.
