Maintenance Engineer - Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician - Ipswich, Suffolk - Established in 1980, the business has grown to become one of the UK's leading food processors, now with a turnover of £1.8 billion, the group operates at 45 locations, employing 25,000 people. At one of their main processing sites in Suffolk, they are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a continental shift pattern (2 on 2 off 3 on 3 off rotating days and nights 12 hour shifts). You will be responsible for ensuring the minimum amount of production downtime on all plant machinery. Working to PPM schedules as well as breakdown requirements, you will respond quickly and effectively to all machinery faults on both electrical and mechanical machinery conveyors, flow wrap, shrink wrap and labelling machines. Experience in the food industry would be advantageous as would qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering and knowledge of PLC fault finding. In return the company offers a salary of £26,500 with the potential earnings of £35,000 with overtime plus 20 days holiday a year (+ Stats), a company pension and bonuses.
