Multi skilled maintenance engineer on shifts - United Kingdom, (Suffolk), Suffolk - Our client is an established blue chip FMCG organisation with sites across the UK and Europe beyond. They are actively expanding and looking to recruit a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join the existing team. You will be working on high speed processing equipment, carrying out breakdowns as and when they occur. You will also be fault finding on various machinery such as conveyors, metal detectors, filling and mixing machines. You will be required to work on various PLC equipment including Siemens S5 and allen Bradley. You will also be working on variety of packaging machinery and some of the latest robotic equipment available. Other duties include: To carry out projects under local control - to time and budget constraints To implement specifications in engineering work performed To assist in development of engineering skills and tasks within the line team To formulate and review the spares requirements for the area To actively seek to improve line performance in conjunction with the Team Leaders/Technicians To ensure that all contractors working on site adhere to our permit to work system and comply with our Company Health & Safety Policy. PERSONAL SPECIFICATION: You will be experienced Electrical or mechanical engineer. You will be required to work on your own and as part of team. This is an exiciting position for the right individual. QUALIFICATIONS: Ideally you will be apprentice trained with electrical or mechanical qualification or City and Guilds qualified. Food or FMCG experience preferable however not essential. Full training will be provided. Career progression is available. This is one of many vacancies that we currently have.
