Shift Based Engineer / Lean Manufacturing - Lowestoft, Suffolk - Shift Based Engineer / Lean Manufacturing Lowestoft, Suffolk £Competitive Salary Since 1925, our client has successfully combined quality with convenience by quick freezing great food to ensure the best taste possible. They are currently looking for a motivated, multi skilled shift based Engineer to join their hard working team. The primary function of this role is to monitor line performance and proactively rectify underperforming equipment by carrying out both mechanical and electrical fault finding diagnostics. With an organised and structured approach, you will develop mechanical capabilities of manufacturing technicians, lead the shift team to deliver effective maintenance programs, and coordinate shift inspection schedules and develop all grades to carry out these activities. The successful candidate should have a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds or equivalent and have served some type of formal apprenticeship. You will come from a multi skilled background, with strong IT skills and experience with PLC logic and drives. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, such as Kaizen or TPM would be advantageous, and flexibility is a must. Shifts are 06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00 and you will be required to work 13 shifts a month
