Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision on the A143 at Thurlow on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2008.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision at 11am, where a Porsche had been in collision with a Citroen Saxo. Four people were taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The female driver of the Citroen Saxo has since died, and has today been named as Jane Gatt, aged 44 and from the Haverhill area.
The three remaining casualties remain in Addenbrookes Hospital – the male driver of the Porsche and a female passenger from the Citroen Saxo are in a critical condition, and a male passenger from the Saxo is in a serious condition.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw the collision or may have any further information to contact PC Nick Spencer at the Bury Roads Policing Unit on 01284 774100.
