Attempted burglary - Sicklesmere
A134 Sicklesmere at around 11.50am 06/05/08 Two females have entered a shop and when the assistant went to help one of them, a man went into the till area. All three were challenged by the assistant and they left the shop, running off towards Bury St Edmunds. Nothing was stolen. The man is described as white, in his early 20s, with short dark hair and was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. The first female is described as white, in her early 20s, 5 foot 8 inches tall with dark hair in a ponytail. The second female is described as white, in her early 20s, 5 foot 7 inches tall with blonde hair in a ponytail. Out Risbygate, Bury St Edmunds at around 8.50pm 06/05/08 A man has been struck on the leg by an unknown object thrown from the front passenger window of a black Vauxhall Corsa with tinted windows, driving out of town past the college. Hales Barn Road, Haverhill between 2am and 9.30am 06/05/08 Offenders have gained entry to a house through an insecure door and stolen a boxed TV and a mobile phone. Burglary - Bramford
Paper Mill Lane, Bramford between 5.15pm 05/05/08 and 7.30am 06/05/08 Offenders have broken into a barn under conversion and stolen power tools including a pneumatic drill. A suspicious male was seen near the property at around 8.30pm on the 5th, he is described as white, 5 foot 10 inches tall, in his late 40s, of stocky build with short grey hair and a local accent and was wearing workman-type clothes.
