Burglary – Haverhill - update
Duddery Road, Haverhill between 11.30pm 01/05/08 and 6am 02/05/08 Offenders have gained entry to a house through an insecure door and stolen a laptop and a handbag, the bag was later found in a wheelie bin in an alleyway nearby. Police want to hear from the occupants of a Peugeot 206, seen in the area early on Friday 2nd May, as they may hold important information about this crime. Theft – Bradfield St Clare
Bradfield St Clare between 8am and 6pm 12/05/08 An Ifor Williams flat bed box trailer has been stolen from a yard. Owners are reminded to keep their property secure at all times. Theft from motor vehicles – Great Blakenham
Lodge Lane, Great Blakenham between 12pm 10/05/08 and 6am 12/05/08 Offenders have gained entry to a secure compound at a dealership by unknown means and stolen catalytic converters from 24 trucks. Theft – Badwell Ash
Back Lane, Badwell Ash between 12/03/08 and 12/05/08 A quantity of heating oil has been stolen from a tank in a back garden, the padlock was forced to gain entry to the tank. Rural communities are urged to be vigilant, and to report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in their area. Burglary - Brantham
New Village, Brantham at around 11.20pm 11/05/08 Two offenders have been disturbed in the hallway of a house by the occupant, they ran out through the front door. A silver car was seen to drive away at speed towards the Palfrey estate with no lights on. A handbag was found to have been stolen. The offenders are described as male, the first was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, the second was in his early 20s, of medium build and was wearing a light coloured top and dark trousers. Criminal damage - Sudbury
Stanley Road, Sudbury between 7.50pm and 9.50pm 12/05/08 A gold Citroen Saxo has had a corrosive liquid poured onto the roof and sides whilst parked in a driveway.
