Ipswich Police are issuing an E-FIT likeness of a male they want to trace following a distraction burglary of an 84-year-old female’s house.
The incident occurred at Woodville Road, Ipswich between 12.10pm and 12.30pm Tuesday 13th May 2008.
Two men attended the home address of the 84-year-old female claiming to need to check the taps due to water damage at a neighbouring property. The first man went in to the kitchen while the second male searched the house. After the men had left the victim discovered a quantity of cash had been stolen.
The first male is described as white, aged late 20s, 5’2” to 5’3” tall, slim build, well spoken, with mousy short hair and was wearing a brown jumper with a shirt underneath, brown trousers and brown soft sole slip on shoes. The second male is described as white, aged late 40s to early 50s, 5’6” to 5’7” tall, slim build and was wearing a top and trousers.
The EFIT likeness is of the first male.
