Police have seized cannabis, cocaine and weapons after executing warrants at two addresses in Lowestoft yesterday, Wednesday 21 May.
A 20-year-old man was arrested after police attended an address at Gilpin Road in Oulton Broad just after 10.30am. He has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on July 16.
A quantity of cannabis and what is thought to be cocaine was found at the address.
The second warrant was carried out at Fairfield Road around 3pm. Cannabis plants and cannabis resin were found along with weapons including knives, swords and nun-chucks.
A 52-year-old man was subsequently arrested. He is currently in custody at Lowestoft Police Station where he will be interviewed by officers.
Suffolk Police’s Waveney District Support Team, supported by several other departments including the dog unit and Detainee Processing Unit, carried out both warrants as part of National Tacking Drugs Week.
