Attempted Murder - Newmarket (update)

Two youths will have no further action taken against them, following an incident in the High Street, Newmarket after a funeral on Wednesday 4th June where a man from Lincolnshire suffered head injuries.
A 17 year old male from Cranleigh in Surrey was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, and a 17 year old male from Chesterton in Cambridgeshire was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both have had their bail cancelled and no further action will be taken against them.
Earlier last week Bobby Frankham, aged 44 and of Sandy Lane in Watford, Hertfordshire was charged with conspiracy to murder and GBH with intent, and Sam Frankham, aged 40 and of Dunedin Place in Eastriggs, Annan, Scotland, was charged with attempted murder and GBH with intent. Both are due before Bury Magistrates on Thursday 18th September.
A 48 year old male from Cranleigh in Surrey, arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders, has had his bail cancelled and no further action will be taken against him.
A 43 year old man from Cranleigh in Surrey was charged with attempted murder in June, and is due before Ipswich Crown Court in January 2009.
