Fraud Arrest - Beccles
Detectives investigating following a fraud offence where thousands of pounds were withdrawn from a bank account have arrested a 58-year-old man in connection with the enquiry.
Suffolk Police issued CCTV images of a man in a bank at Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire and a passport-style image of another man they wanted to speak to in connection with the investigation in September.
As a result of this and other distributions, a Police Community Support Officer from Ilford contacted Suffolk officers with information.
Further enquiries led to the 58-year-old man from Ilford being arrested last Friday, 21 November.
He has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on 16 January 2009, pending further investigation.
