Fatal Collision - Woodbridge - Man Named
An 87-year-old man who died following a road traffic collision on the A12 near Woodbridge on Sunday, 7 December, has been named as Frederick Hadden of Crofton Road in Ipswich.
Mr Hadden was driving a silver Ford Fiesta that was in collision with a Mitsubishi Shogun at the junction with the C327 road to Great Bealings about 2.30pm.
An 87-year-old woman in the Fiesta was also taken to Ipswich hospital with serious injuries. She is now said to be improving.
Police are continuing to ask anyone who saw the collision to call PC Gary Buss at the Serious Collision Investigation Team at police headquarters on 01473 613500.
Officers are particularly keen to trace a motorcyclist who it’s believed may have stopped at the scene and the driver of silver car, which is thought to have been following the Shogun at the time of the crash.
Police would also like to thank Woodbridge residents and motorists for their patience while officers dealt with the collision on Sunday.
