Appeal for Information - Bury St Edmunds
Police in Bury St Edmunds are appealing for information following an incident in Fornham Road last night, Tuesday 3rd February.
At around 10.10pm a man heard noises outside his front door. He went to the door and found two males outside, who threatened him with what is believed to be a firearm. The man challenged the males and they ran off down Avenue Approach.
The first male is described as white, between 5 foot 10 inches and 6 foot tall, of average build, with blue eyes and was wearing black or navy clothing including a woolen hat and gloves, a shiny black jacket and a scarf over his face.
The second male is described as white, between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8 inches tall, of average build and was wearing black or navy clothing including a woolen hat and gloves and a scarf over his face.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen the two males, or anyone else with any information about this incident. Calls should be made to DC Mel Stammers at Bury CID on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
