Police are issuing a warning to drug users after receiving information that local heroin dealers may be mixing the drug with cleaning products.

There is concern that the mixing of the drug with these cleaning materials could have a severe effect for anyone who takes them, hence the need to issue an alert.

It’s thought when burnt the mixture would produce black crystals on the top.
