Fatal RTC Newmarket
Police have today named the couple who died following a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A14 near Newmarket on Monday 13th April.
Emergency services were called at 2.35pm to the westbound Rowley Mile Service Station, where a silver Hyundai Getz had been in collision with a sign. The driver and passenger were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
They have today been named as David Smith, aged 75, and his wife Marjorie, also aged 75, of Bradwell, Great Yarmouth.
A collision investigation is underway, and any witnesses to the collision should call PC Andrew Fossey at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01473 613500.
