Theft – Woodbridge

An orange inflatable 14ft rib boat was cut from its moorings at River Wall at sometime between 4pm on Thursday 3 and 2.45pm on Sunday 6 September. The boat was later found, slashed up and minus its grey 60hp two stroke outboard engine with white propeller, at Wilford Bridge. The engine would have been bulky - about 5ft tall and around 200lbs – therefore it’s thought more than one person would have been needed to move it and a vehicle would have been needed to transport it. It’s also thought it would have taken a while – possibly hours – to remove the engine from the rib. Anyone with information about who is responsible – or where the engine is now – should call PC 361 Howard at Woodbridge on 01473 613500.
