Firearms Incident - Ipswich
Police were called to Solar Bowl, Sproughton Road, Ipswich at about 9pm last night, Sunday 6th September 2009 to reports of a male in the premises with a firearm.
People were evacuated from the premises and the premises and surrounding area were searched but the search failed to locate the male. A BB gun was however located and seized by police.
At 12pm today, Monday 7th September 2009 a 19-year-old Ipswich male was arrested at his home address on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He is currently in custody at Ipswich Police Station awaiting questioning.
