A five week course to encourage people back into the swing of golf is available at Ufford Park Hotel Golf Course during the Spring.
As part of the ‘Get Back Into’ sports initiative, the course is aimed at people who used to play golf but had to give it up and who would now like to play again.
“This course is a good way to get people who used to enjoy playing golf, but for some reason or another had to give it up, back onto the golf course and back into the swing of a more active lifestyle,” said Councillor Mary Neale, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Countryside.
“This new sporting initiative, launched by Suffolk Sport this year, aims to encourage people to take up or get back into regular exercise, particularly something they used to do and enjoy,” added Councillor Neale.
The course will be held on Tuesdays starting on April 8 and finishing on May 6 from 6pm – 7pm. The cost will be £25 per person. At the end of the five weeks there will be an opportunity to book an individual session with Doctor Golf and play on the golf course.
